Personal Ministry In addition to member training, our Personal Ministries Committee focuses on promoting Jesus Christ's eternal gospel in the Barry County area through friendship outreach. This includes offering free Bible studies, DVDs, Christian satellite broadcasts, sharing helpful literature, and offering instructional and helpful seminars covering a range of subjects such as building strong marriages, family life, finances, and health. Sabbath School Sabbath School is discipleship through Bible education—and so much more. In seeking to meet the spiritual needs of its members, it attributes an emphasis on fellowship, outreach, Bible study, and provides a rich spiritual environment in practical, everyday settings. Read more »
Adventist Community Services Center Operating under the Personal Ministries umbrella, the Hastings Adventist Community Services Center, located at 502 East Green Street, offers people in the Barry County area access to free clothing and other items. It is open Monday and Wednesday by appointment. To make an appointment, contact our ACS director, Doneta Wrate at (269) 945-2361. Clothing donations are also set up by appointment. Read more »
